these pylons are in weston-on-trent, which is a little village on the outskirts of derby. it is very pretty here. there is a river (the trent) that is nice to look at, but not so nice to fall into. i especially like the clouds in this photo. i think it was when i was in my "pylons and clouds" phase. i'm not sure i've actually grown out of that phase yet.

I think the 'composition' of this photograph is excellent. It is a good thing to capture pylons in their broader environmental context I think.
Thank you. I think, on their own, pylons aren't that interesting. But when they link across a valley or sing above treetops, that's when the magic happens.
